Oliver Jr. is a youth-friendly adaptation of the classic musical Oliver! based on Charles Dickens' novel Oliver Twist. The story follows a young orphan named Oliver as he escapes a harsh workhouse and ventures into the streets of Victorian London. There, he meets a colorful cast of characters including the Artful Dodger, the kind-hearted Nancy, and the cunning Fagin, who leads a group of child pickpockets. With memorable songs like “Consider Yourself” and “Food, Glorious Food,” Oliver Jr. explores themes of family, resilience, and the hope of finding a better life.
Mountain Youth and Community Theatre is currently seeking community-minded individuals with experience in fundraising, Marketing, social media, or basic facilities maintenance to join our Board or volunteer pool.
